The original SECURE Act was passed in 2019, which made changes to retirement and tax law in an attempt to make it easier for individuals to save for retirement and provide more flexibility in how retirement savings can be used. Then in December of 2022, the SECURE 2.0 Act was passed to build on the original Act. This course will detail the SECURE 2.0 Act and highlight some of the sections most relevant to CPAs and enrolled agents. All course material provided. No prerequisites. Course level: Basic.
