STEP 1: Create Your Personalized Online Account

The first step is to create your account. To set-up your personalized online account will require 3-steps. There can only be ONE PERSON per account. You cannot share accounts with another user.

  • 1ST STEP: CONTACT INFORMATION
    You will need your name, address, email and phone number that you would like to APPEAR on your certificate and to use for contact and/or shipping.

  • 2ND STEP: PAYMENT INFORMATION
    The DEFAULT setting is to provided payment at checkout. This is your preferred payment option if you should ever choose to make a purchase online.

  • 3RD STEP: LICENSE INFORMATION
    You must provide your designation and state of licensure (if applicable). You can also put your license number. This information will appear on your certificate of completion and be used to verify that purchases you make will qualify for CPE for your state and designation.

Once your account has been created, you can login and begin to navigate your new, personalized account.

How do I navigate the site?

After you have set-up your user account, you will log in using your email and password. Once logged in, the navigation at the top of the page will appear like the image above. This global navigation header provides you links to all the various functions of the site on every page for quick access. The navigation tabs include: Shop for CPE, My CPE, My Account and Help/Support. What you can access from these pages is explained in detail below. In addition, you can access the home page, your cart items, contact us and search options at all times from the boxed items on the right-hand side of the image.

What is Shop for CPE?

Shop for CPE is where you can purchase PES CPE products! View our selections, choose your format, add items to your "My Cart" bag; and when you are ready to purchase click My Cart in the top right-hand corner to checkout.

Products are listed by:

  • Catalog Category
  • Format: Hard Copy, PDF or Online Computer-based
  • Hot New Courses and Top Sellers
  • Enrolled Agent Approved CPE
  • CFP Approved CPE

After you purchase your items, the website automatically drops the exam for all Hard Copy, PDF and Exam Only purchases into your My CPE Exams in Progress. If you ordered a Hard Copy course, it will be shipped to you the same business day. If you purchased a PDF course, you access the PDF course materials in your My PDF CPE Materials in Progress for immediate download. If you ordered an Online course, you access the Online course in your My Online CPE in Progress. The exam for the online course is within the online content, so you will not have a separate exam in the My CPE Exams in Progress folder.

What is My CPE?

My CPE is where you access your purchased PDF or ONLINE CPE, submit exams for grading, view certificates and more! The My CPE page allows you to keep track of all your PES CPE.

The "View CPE in Progress" area includes all CPE that has yet to be submitted for grading and certification. This is where you submit your exams for grading, access PDFs and online courses.

My Online CPE in Progress: When you purchase a computer-based online CPE course, the website places the online course in this area. Click this icon to access the online course content and submit your exam.

My CPE Exams in Progress: When you purchase a hard copy, PDF, or exam only item through this website, the website places the corresponding exam in this area. Click this icon to access your purchased CPE exams to submit for grading and certification.

My PDF CPE in Progress: When you purchase a PDF of a course, the website places a link to the corresponding PDFs in this area. Click this icon to access your purchased PDF courses in order to download the course and exam materials to your desktop for easy study. When you are ready to submit your exam for final grading and certification, you may fax it to the number provided in the PDF Exam instructions or access the corresponding exam in My CPE Exams in Progress.

Add Exam Previously Purchased: When you purchase items on the website, exams are automatically dropped into your My CPE Exams in Progress. If you ordered over the phone, have an older exam, or another person purchased an exam for you, you will need to add the exam to My CPE Exams in Progress. To add an exam, click the Add Exam Previously Purchased icon and follow the instructions. After adding the exam, it will appear in My CPE Exams in Progress, and you can submit it for grading.

 

The "View Completed CPE" area includes all CPE that has been completed and submitted for grading and certification through this website. This is where you can access completed online content, completed PDF materials, certificates and evaluations.

My Completed Online CPE Courses: After you complete your computer-based online course, the website moves the course content into this area for future reference. Clicking on a specific course gives you access to the course content, certificate of completion and your graded exam.

My Completed CPE Exams and Certificates: After you submit an exam for grading and certification, the website moves the exam into this area for future reference. Clicking on a specific exam gives you access to the certificate of completion and your graded exam.

My Completed PDF CPE Courses: After you submit an exam for grading and certification for a PDF course, the website moves the PDF links into this area for future reference. Clicking on a specific PDF link allows you to download the PDF materials as many times as you need.

My Evaluations: After you complete an exam or online course, you have an opportunity to submit an Evaluation. If you submit an evaluation, you will have access to your comments by clicking on this icon.

 

The "View Additional Information" links to various account information.

My License Information: This page is where you provide designation, state and license information that appears on your certificate of completion. You can have up to four license and designations appear on your certificate if you are multi-licensed.

My Purchase History: Shows your purchase history and allows access to purchase invoices.

My State Requirements: Provides a listing of current requirements for your state of licensure. You can also view other state requirements if needed.

My CPE Notes and Reminders: Use this area to make notes for whatever you like.

How do I submit my Exam for Grading?

When you purchase a hard copy, PDF, or exam only item through this website, the website automatically places the corresponding exam in My CPE Exams in Progress located under the My CPE tab. Click My CPE Exams in Progress to view a listing of CPE exams purchased. Click on the exam to submit for grading. If your exam is not listed under My CPE Exams in Progress, you can add the exam by clicking the Add Exam Previously Purchased icon and following the instructions.

If you ordered over the phone, have an older exam, or another person purchased an exam for you, you will need to add the exam to your My CPE Exams in Progress. To add an exam, click the Add Exam Previously Purchased icon and follow the instructions. After adding the exam, it will appear in the My CPE Exams in Progress and you can submit it for grading.

How do I access my PDFs?

When you purchase a PDF of a course, the website places a link to the corresponding PDF in the My PDF CPE in Progress area. Click this icon to access your purchased PDF course and exam materials in order to download to your desktop for easy study. When you are ready to submit your exam for final grading and certification, you may fax it to the number provided in the PDF Exam instructions or access the corresponding exam in your My CPE Exams in Progress.

After you submit an exam for grading and certification for a PDF course, the website moves the PDF links into the My Completed PDF CPE Courses area for future reference. Clicking on a specific PDF link allows you to download the PDF content as many times as you need.

How do I access my Online CPE?

When you purchase a computer-based online CPE course, the website places the online course in the My Online CPE in Progress area. Click this icon to access the online course content and submit your exam.

Online CPE courses contain the final exam within the course content so you will not see a separate exam for your online course under My CPE Exams in Progress.

After you complete your computer-based online course, the website moves the online course content into the My Completed Online CPE Courses area for future reference. Clicking on a specific course gives you access to the course content, certificate of completion and your graded exam.

How can I adjust my screen resolution so the web pages fit horizontally on my screen?

Our website was designed to fit on a standard 15" monitor with 1024 x 768 resolution. Our website is best viewed at 1024 x 768 or higher resolution. The higher the number of pixels, the more information you can display on your screen and the smaller items appear. Lower screen resolution makes items appear larger and can benefit people with vision impairments.

If you find that the website does not fit horizontally on your screen, you may have to adjust your screen resolution. If you choose not to change your resolution, you will have to scroll horizontally to view all content.

To change your screen resolution, choose your operating system and follow the instructions:

How can I make my text larger or smaller?

To increase readability, you can also increase and decrease the TEXT size in your browser window.

In Internet Explorer, you can increase TEXT size by accessing the PAGE drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner and selecting TEXT SIZE. You may also choose ZOOM.

In Safari, you can access the TEXT size accessing the VIEW menu or clicking the "A" icon at the top of the browser bar.
